I became interested in wanting to just throw pottery in the early eighties.  After several years, attempt was made at handbuilding which was very hard and backwards to learning about clay.  Then I wanted my own studio so I could keep track of tools and leave a mess if I wanted.  Now I love figurative sculpture which merged the frustration from handbuilding from figurative drawing and figurative sculpture.  My 'barn' shed studio is a fright.  Last years resolution to clean it out came and went.  Hopefully this year it gets cleaned out so I can produce.  I have enjoyed ALL my art classes and meeting fellow artists in clay.
